It's Giveaway Day at Sew Mama Sew! Thank you for stopping by (if you aren't familiar with Giveaway Day - follow this link!) I've got an easy giveaway entry process in the Rafflecopter below for the items pictures above. No hoops to jump through. I know it's a frantic time rushing to enter all the giveaways, but I'd be so grateful if you took a couple minutes to read my post. We could be new blogging or social media besties - you never know (especially if you enjoy tutorials, garment and handbag sewing, or are considering starting a bit of quilting, like me)!
Away from my blog (which you can "like" on Facebook and ), I am most active on Periscope and Instagram, I hope you'll consider following me there. I love Periscope and if you haven't jumped on board yet, you should give it a try. I regularly join the #honestcraftroomies scope hops on Tuesdays or Thursday nights, and also broadcast video of inside looks of patterns I sew, tips, tutorials, and general fun. Replays are on katch and often embeded in related blog posts.
2015 has been a great year with a new look for my blog, significant growth, and learning what my sewing interests and strengths are (and are not). I am excited to focus in on those in 2016. If you follow me, you can expect a Question of the Week dialogue across this blog, IG and Periscope, more fantastic tutorials (most excited about these), more handbag sewing posts, and a wandering into a bit of modern quilting (I recently realized quilting isn't just for grannies any more. I'm embarrassed I thought that.). I will continue to sew garments and participate in blog tours as well.
Here are a few favorites from the year. Link in caption will take you to the post:
Favorite Bag that I posted about |

Favorite & Most Popular Tutorial Featured on Sew Can She and Fabricworm |
Favorite Pattern I Sewed this Year Moto Jacket from Jennuine Design |
Favorite Designer for Kids Link to all patterns by Jennuine Design |
Most Comfortable Garment Moto Joggers from Hatchlings Patterns |
But now for the giveaway everyone is here for! Prize includes: 1/4 yard Cotton + Steel fabric from the Spring 2014 Mustang line, mini clip on Ott Lite, my favorite metallic zipper, glue stick for glue basting, and a cute tassel zipper pull. Open internationally because I won a giveaway last December from Amira at Little Mushroom Cap in Australia and she shipped to US, so I am willing to do the same. This giveaway is sponsored and provided by me alone. Sew Not Perfect is not endorsed in any way by the maker of these products. Giveaway is open December 9 until 11:59 pm EST on December 13. Not responsible for packages lost in transit or if wrong address provided by winner. Good luck!
Many thanks for the lovely giveaway!
ReplyDeleteKate, you are welcome. It's fun to have a chance to give back. Thank you so much for stopping by!

DeleteThanks for the giveaway and the mention of Periscope. That's new to me. I'm an old retired lady who lives on the fringes of social media even though I have a Masters Degree in Computer Science. (Rare for women back in those pre-social media days. :-) So happy the Internet has brought we sewist/quilters together.
ReplyDeleteAnn, I'm not retired, but I always have to ask my brother about the latest apps and social media because I am out-of-the-loop and usually the last to join in. I decided to give Periscope a try for the last two months of the year and see what I thought, and I am hooked. I hope you try it out and love it, too. Thank you for stopping by and extra thanks for taking a moment to comment!
DeleteWow thanks for the giveaway. It's interesting to see what other sewing enthusiasts love.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan! You are welcome. I love seeing what others find helpful, fun, and just plain enjoyable. I don't know if you saw, but I also listed the items I think would be fun and helpful here: http://sew-not-perfect.blogspot.com/2015/12/sewing-wish-list-dreams.html Thanks for coming by!

DeleteBethany, I am totally following you. I love your work and am dying to make those cute headbands for my girls. And sorry, I need to stop being lazy and finish your mini mini.
ReplyDeleteSilvia - it isn't laziness when you are working on so many other great projects (I LOVE those stockings!). I am so behind myself, so the more time you take, the less pressure I'll feel! But thank you! I completely clicked on your giveaway without knowing it was your site. Love HR! Can't wait to see some headbands on your girls.
